Thomas D. Nabors, D.D.S.
Dr. Thomas Nabors was born in Dallas, Texas on April 17, 1955 to Dr. and Mrs. G. C. Nabors. His father was an Obstetrician and his mother a homemaker.
Dr. Nabors graduated from Jesuit College Preparatory in 1973. He attended and graduated from Texas Tech University 1973-1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He attended and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry 1977-1980 with a Doctor of Dental Science Degree (DDS) and was a member of the Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity.
He associated for 18 months in the practice of Bernard Rust in Irving, Texas then, bought his practice in January of 1982. Dr. Nabors has been practicing in the same location since that time.
Dr. Nabors is a Member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Irving Dental Study Club (Past President), Southwestern Medical School Implant Study Club, Academy of Computerized Dentistry. He is also a member and Past President of the Irving Chapter of Ambucs, a civic club whose national sponsorship is scholarships for therapists.
Dr. Nabors has been married for 31 years and has two children, Lee - age 28, and Daniel - age 25.
The Staff
Aimee, Janie and Tammy work in our business office. They take care of all of your insurance and financial needs. The pleasant voices you hear on the phone when you call our office belong to them. They can answer any question you may have regarding insurance, making appointments, off-site financing and other business questions. All together, they have 47 years of service in Dr. Nabors' office. They make it their goal to make your experience at Dr. Tom Nabors' office a very pleasant experience.
Jana and Nelly are chairside assistants for Dr. Nabors. They are responsible for assisting Dr. Nabors with any treatment he performs. Jana and Nelly are exceptionally skilled dental assistants and they work very hard at making your clinical appointments go very smoothly and comfortably. They are also very knowledgeable about dentistry, so they can answer any questions you may have about treatment. Jana and Nelly have a total of 37 years of service in Dr. Nabors' office. It is certainly a plus for any dental office to have such skilled and loyal chairside assistants. This clearly adds to the quality of the treatment performed at Dr. Nabors' office.
Connye and Lucy are the dental hygienists for Dr. Tom Nabors. You will not find anyone more dedicated to the oral health of our patients than these two hygienists. Together they have 32 years of service in Dr. Nabors' office. They are both very caring people and very gentle hygienists. When you have your teeth cleaned by either of these hygienists, you will feel that you have a very thorough and comfortable treatment.
A truly exceptional dental office will have many qualities. First and foremost is that high quality dentistry needs to be performed. Many times that is difficult for a patient to discern, at least at first, it certainly speaks very highly for Dr. Nabors' office that his employees have remained at his office for so many years. Among seven employees, there are a total of seventy-nine years of service in Dr. Nabors' office. That is an average of seventeen years per employee.
